And more fun

As if yesterday's excitement wasn't enough...

Today Connor and I both had a dentist appointment.  As we backed out of the open garage, Connor's co-worker, who was in the office, closed the garage door.  Right on top of Connor's car.  Needless to say, Connor was a little angry.  He always takes such good care of his car.  We got out of the car to inspect the damage, which was pretty bad, but I guess it could have been a lot worse.  Connor went into the office and asked the secretary if she had closed the garage.  She said yes and he told her what happened.  She said "oops."

On our way to the dentist (who is in Provo, so we had a bit of a drive), I called our insurance company.  Luckily they are considering this a comprehensive claim and our comprehensive deductible is only $100.  We're taking the car in tomorrow to get fixed.

Then Connor called his manager and he told Connor to speak with some corporate people about getting the company to pay for it.  They offered to cover up to $1000 in damage, or just pay our deductible so we're going to do that. At least this expense won't come out of our pocket!  

Now let's hope we can get through rest of the week without any more "excitement."
