Valentine's Day

We kept Valentine's pretty simple this year.  Once Connor got home from work we all headed to Tonyburger's for dinner.  We hadn't eaten there before, but we had a coupon (yep, that's how we roll) so we thought we'd give it a try.  It was quite delicious.  Matthew is becoming quite the good eater and even ate some of my hamburger.  We'll have to buy him his own from now on.

We didn't take any photos, but here's a cute video of Matthew at dinner.

18 & 19 Weeks!

Week 18:  Sweet Potato

Week 19:  Mango

I can hardly believe I'm in the 19th week of pregnancy already.  Things are going well, still dealing with the rash, but it's getting better.  I also have been dealing with sciatica and pelvic pain again, so that's not much fun.  I need to go back to the chiropractor.  Pregnancy has made me a believer in the chiropractor.

I have been feeling kicks for a couple of weeks now, but Tuesday both Connor and I felt kicks on the outside!  That's always fun, and really takes this baby to a new level of reality.

Anniversary #4

Today we celebrated our fourth anniversary.  Connor conveniently had the day off from work so we started the day by eating at Sill's Cafe for brunch.  It was delicious as always, and Matthew charmed our server, as he always does.

In the afternoon Connors parents were kind enough to come watch Matthew so we could have a little date.  We went to a movie and then ate at Tucano's.  I had been craving Tucano's and it was as delicious as ever.  I got their lemonade this time, which I don't remember getting before, and it was AMAZING.  After we stuffed ourselves, we decided to drive by Deseret for old times sake.  It was a good place to live (free!), but I'm so very glad that we moved on.

It was a great day, and a great anniversary.

17 Weeks

As of Sunday I was 17 weeks along.  This was taken at the end of the day, so I look super awesome.

Baby is the size of an onion.  I'm still waiting for that 2nd trimester energy I've heard about. :)

I also have had this horrible rash for a little over a week.  It's either eczema or hives, and it is awful.  This is the second time I've had a rash this pregnancy (the first was right after I found out I was pregnant).  This time hasn't been as bad, but the last time I did go to see a doctor...who told me to take benadryl.  Aloe has become my new best friend, and it's getting better.  I have no idea what caused the rash the first time or this time, but I would really appreciate it if it didn't come back.

Matthew @ 16 Months

Matthew is now 16 months old.  Which means in only 2 more months he can go to nursery!  Not that I'm counting down or anything.  I just hope he'll go.  It will be so nice to be able to actually sit through an entire church meeting again.

Reading with daddy

I gave him my old iPod.  He thinks it's a phone.

Helping dad work.

Because sometimes 1 binky just isn't enough.

Matthew is so much fun.  We are so lucky to have him in our family.

I have some cute videos too, which I will try to upload later.  I have to do it from my phone because my laptop is too old.
