busiest. day. ever.
Today has been a long and busy day.
It started with a doctors appointment this morning. Everything's great. Baby-no-name is head down. Hopefully he stays that way!
Then we came home and sold my car. Yay! We technically still have it. But the couple who are buying it are going out of town and are going to come back and get it on Sunday.
Then, we bought a new car. Double yay! We just went to look, but looking turned into buying. We bought a used Toyota RAV-4. It's a 2009 with only about 22,500 miles on it. We are really happy with it. It definitely has enough room in the back seat for a car seat. :)
After that, we came home for about an hour and relaxed a little before we headed to the hospital to take an Infant CPR class. I saw online that they offer it, and I thought it would give me some peace of mind, which it did. Hopefully we will never need to use anything that we learned today, but it's nice to know just in case.
Once the class was over we headed to Target and bought some food for dinner. I really need to go grocery shopping. Life has been so very busy lately, and recently I only have the energy for the bare minimum. I was going to go last Saturday, but I felt really sick. So we've been eating very simple meals all week. Simple is good, though, right?
We headed home, made/ate dinner. Then we were back out again. My sister-in-law gave me a gift card to Old Navy, and since I'm having a baby shower on Saturday I thought it'd be nice to get a new shirt or maxi dress. Well, we got there, and started looking for the maternity section and couldn't find it. I asked an employee, and he told me they didn't have one there. Seriously? In Utah? Whatev. I looked at some shirts I liked, but they all looked too short to cover my bigger-by-the-day belly. So, we left and went back to Target to return something, and I looked at their maternity clothes, but didn't find anything that I wanted. Oh, well.
Afterwards we decided we needed some ice cream, so we went to Baskin Robins. Now we are finally home. My feet are swollen. I'm tired. I think I did too much today, but that's alright. I will now take it easy for the rest of the week. And maybe next week too.

Sunday and Monday
Sunday morning we went to church. I got to sit with Addison for a while, which was fun. She's too cute. I felt bad that I had to step out during Relief Society to checkin for my flight. But when you're flying standby, your checkin time is very important. So you gotta do what you gotta do.
Everything else Sunday was pretty low key. I was so exhausted from the whole trip that I took a 3 hour nap.
Here are some random pics from the trip:

Monday I went home. I had a good time in California, but I was happy to get back home to Connor. And my dog. And my own bed. :)
Saturday - Taylor's Baptism
Saturday was the day that we had all been waiting for. My nephew, Taylor, was baptized.
The morning was nice and relaxed. Robin and I played with Addison. She is so cute and so much fun. She's loves to move her cute little booty to music. I was playing some on my iPhone and she started dancing. I tried to record it, but apparently you can't play music and record a video at the same time. Boo.
Taylor's baptism was nice. If I remember correctly, there were 6 boys getting baptized. There were 2 from Taylor's ward, and the other boy was also named Taylor. In fact, their first 2 initials were the same. His baptism went perfectly, and it was very sweet. Afterwards we went back to Joe and Crystal's house, changed our clothes, and headed to Taylor's favorite restaurant: Red Robin.
Dinner was good and the company was great. I had a delicious chocolate shake, which was the hi-light of my meal. Taylor was so cute when they came and sang 'Happy Birthday' to him. He had the funniest, semi-embarrassed, mostly excited look on his face. I really should have taken a picture.
